Fostering shared experiences is an important aspect of a cohesive and creative Canada. In a country like Canada, where the government plays an important role in deliberately bringing Canadians together, it is important that we have the right instruments to communicate and deliver our events, our stories, and our shared experiences, domestically and internationally and to enhance opportunities for all Canadians to participate and excel in sport. Our regional offices are an integral part of the Sector. The Department provides services to Canadians from 21 points of service located at its Headquarters and in five regions: Western, Prairies and Northern, Ontario, Quebec, and Atlantic. The regional offices support the Department with their intimate knowledge of the regional communities and realities and delivery of innovative services to the public.
