It aims to ensure that established Canadian music entrepreneurs contribute to the Canadian musical experience over the long-term via a diverse range of compelling Canadian musical choices, become increasingly competitive at the national and international level, and position themselves for success in a digitized global economy. The Department of Canadian Heritage administers the MEC. For more information on the CMF and its components, please visit our Web site: Music.
