Salaries and Hiring

YCW contributions to the hourly wages for the positions created will not exceed the per hour rates of pay listed in the following table, which reflects the employee's level of attainment in secondary or post-secondary education.

It should be noted that it is at each participating Friendship Centre's discretion to determine the final salary for each position, although the amount of Young Canada Works contribution is not to exceed the maximum allowable for the level of education.

It is important that the mandatory section of the Young Canada Works Application specify the completed level of education of the student you are seeking.
